Broadband DSL/Private Networks

There are 3 plans available within the private network structure:

Business: The business service offers a professionally installed router on a premium, high-speed connection that gives low latency to cater for business applications.

Managed: Foundation IT can provide businesses with a Managed Private Network that allows them to utilize the broadband medium to inter-connect sites, share applications and services and gain high speed access to Internet and email. All services are professionally installed, secured behind our firewalls and managed end to end.

Critical: These services contain all the benefits of the Managed service but are for businesses who require a constant, backed up connection for the greatest possible up-time available. The ADSL service is provided with a backup ISDN service so that if the ADSL service is interrupted for any reason, the backup ISDN service will automatically startup ensuring a constant network connection.

All fees based on a minimum 12 month contract.
For business and managed services, first month and a professional installation fee of $395 (excluding GST) is payable on application.
For critical services, first month and a professional installation fee of $695 (excluding GST) is payable on application.
All contracts are subject to our Acceptable Use Policy
Minimum contract cost is 12 months of chosen service plus cost of professional installation.
Managed & Critical Services include free site to site traffic within FITbiz.net.
Prices Subject to Change.
For non-Critical services, a D-LINK DSL-504 router is provided.
For Critical services, 2 Cisco Routers and an ISDN line are provided.
Business services are payable by direct debit only.
All routers remain the property of Foundation IT Services.

* Greater than 4:1 upload:download ratio charged at 5c/MB (excluding GST)

** Up to 20Mbps downstream and 1Mbps upstream. Note this is a best efforts service and the actual data transmission rate which can be achieved is likely to be less than the maximum transmission capability because of network configuration, dimensioning, overhead, line quality, premise interference, distance from the exchange, method of data transmission, exchange type, hardware and software configuration and other technical reasons.
